The Opening Ceremony for Postgraduate was Held in Logistics Engineering College

On September 14, the opening ceremony for postgraduate was held in Logistics Engineering College. Hu Xiong, Dean of the Logistics Engineering College, Tang Xuhong, Secretary of Party Committee attended the ceremony. Sun shibin, vice dean of the Logistics Engineering College, presided the ceremony.

With the majestic national anthem, the opening ceremony began. Hu Xiong, Dean of the Logistics Engineering College, gave an important speech. Firstly, on behalf of all the teachers and students in Logistics Engineering College, he extended the warm welcome to postgraduate. Then he stressed about what to do and how to do for students and he hoped that all students should make investigation of things and extension of knowledge, make the unity of knowledge and practice, as well as make self- discipline and social commitment. What’s more, he also stressed that profession feature is the distinctive feature of our college. Research had better combine college of professional characteristics.

During the ceremony, Fan Xingchun, on behalf of the freshmen, gave a speech. He said all the students will adhere to the school motto of SMU, study hard and blaze new trails based on the characteristics of maritime.

At last, Tang Xuhong, she gave great expectation for students and she hope that students cherish the two-year time, adhere to the academic ethics and academic integrity, and strive to improve the academic level. Party member should set strict demands on themselves and should play an exemplary role in all respects.
